Changed Currency to £ as default but does not reflect in the Store still shows dollars.
I have also set switch to default language currency as true.
What am I doing wrong please?

Tried both ways still does not change.
I am using the latest zencart 1.57-06 I think it is faulty.
I have given in. I changed to default USD $ then changed the symbol from $ to £
It now works.
If somebody that has the latest version and has £ working as it should please let me know. Thanks
I ran it through a quick test and it seemed ok.
But you said, "I have also set switch to default language currency as true." which is not what you want to do if you want Sterling to be your currency. You must set that value to false - this is the first step in the document which @dbltoe pointed you to.
