Cannot login to Admin

Hello,

I am attempting to reset the Admin password using phpmyadmin. I have tried it through the sql statement way and also editing the admin row and entering in the encoded password and i am still not allowed to log into the control panel. Can someone please let me know how to fix this issue. I am not sure of the version of zencart i am using since i cannot get into zencart.

Can someone please assist. Below is the sql query i used.

DELETE FROM admin WHERE admin_name = 'Admin';
INSERT INTO admin (admin_name, admin_email, admin_pass, admin_profile)
VALUES ('Admin', 'admin@localhost', '351683ea4e19efe34874b501fdbf9792:9b', 1);

This supposably should set the username to: Admin
Password should be: admin

and i still can't log in.

What are the symptoms of "not allowed to log in"?

Does it give you a blank screen after submitting the page?
A specific error message?
A refresh as though you'd visited it for the first time?

When did this first begin? How does that relate to anything else you've changed about the site?

When was the last time you could login?

Is the storefront having similar login challenges when logging in like a shopper would?

After i put in the Admin username and password i reset it to it simply says "You entered the wrong username or password." I have tried clearing the cache and it still does not work.

I also do not have SSL enabled on my site yet. But in the past this has not been an issue. I tested to connection from the shopping cart to the DB by creating a new shopper account. Please help this is urgent i get in the admin section. My client cannot get in either so they cannot get their orders.

What other recent changes have been made? Is the site SSL or not? ZC version? Have you tried to check for a bad table in the phpMyAdmin?

In past similar situations, we have also found that an SSL change or 301 can block access. Is your admin expecting a certain URL and an added .htaccess setting is keeping you out?

e.g, if your site is set to redirect to http://www.YOURSITE.com but your SSL is for https://YOURSITE.com, you might be blocked if you use the wrong URL combination.
