    Default Google Analytics tag

    Hi all,

Is there a better way to install a Google Analytics tag . Currently I have it in a javascript file in the directory includes/templates/responsive_classic/jscript

Any other suggestions would be good. Maybe in the header file ?

    Thanks

The jscript file is a good way. That already puts the content into the 'head' section of the page html.

Why are you thinking that a "header" file is better?

Did you put the javascript file in a new file or an existing one? If an existing one which one.

Sounds like your post means "I want to do this; how do I?"

Simple: create a new file at: /includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE_DIRECTORY_HERE/jscript/jscript_google_analytics.js
and paste Google's snippet in that file.
