I think the reason is because it uses directories/slashes to create readable urls

    like this one
    http://anysigns.ca/isigns-funny-joke...er-p-1204.html

and without the Ultimare URLs, it looks like this
    http://anysigns.ca/index.php?main_pa...oducts_id=1204

the "/isigns-funny-joke-prank-c-44/" is the part that is tripping it up, since it searches for the css files in public_html/isigns-funny-joke-prank-c-44/includes/.. etc.

Not sure if the issue is with the module, or if there is something in the config files that is messing it up. I'm glad to have my store back, but I'd prefer to have readable URLs for search engine visibility's sake
As I described, the browser doesn't know from where to base attempting to get to includes/... etc.. That is information that is typically provided through the <base href="" html tag that is missing from the html of the page. In absence of that indicator, the current "page" (you-look-like-i-need-a-drink-vinyl-sticker-p-1204.html) is "removed" and the additional information to get to the next location is "referentially" attached... By telling the browser: hey everything on this page that is to be referenced from here should begin with: http: / / anysigns.ca/ (spaces added to prevent link creation) then all other attempts to get the "data" are specific by using the base tag plus whatever is to be reached, provided what is to be reached does not begin with a slash or other protocol designation (http, https, ftp, etc...).

So, no, it is not necessarily the rewriter that *is* the problem, but instead the page's html which causes the problem to be seen when using the rewriter...

Need to correct that file.. As I stated and unfortunately it appears that if it is true that the mobishop_blue template didn't include the file (which I thought the last time I installed that template on someone else's server I found it included), then something has modified (or not updated) the normal template_default version of that file... And if that file has been modified/not updated, what other file(s) are in the same condition of missing necessary information?

Thank you! I previouslt added the <base> tag, but I added it at the bottom of the html_header file, and after moving it to the top, it works fine now.

I looked over some of the old backups I have of the site. There doesn't seem to be an html_header file for my mobishop theme. Maybe I'm using a very old version, and you were working with the updated one?

Anyways, thank you very much for your help.
