Third PArty Redirect + Chrome 84

Hi All,

for my credit card payments I'm using a third-party redirect payment gateway.

I've been noticing sometimes that the customers card gets charged, but when they are redirected, their session ends and it doesn't complete the order.

Looking at my access logs I've noticed one consistent pattern, it always seems to be Chrome 84.

Has anyone else seen this issue? Thanks.

Chrome changed things in 84, related to session cookies.

Here's the adjustment made for v157:

There are no plans to backport it into older Zen Cart versions. Probably worth planning an upgrade so it's easier to implement fixes for other modern adjustments in the browser/payment/ecommerce landscape as they occur.

thanks for the update.

In the process of upgrading to 1.5.7.

In the git posted I see the following:
This same change should work on Zen Cart v1.5.5 and 1.5.6.

Do you think this will temporarily work for 1.5.4 as well?

The concept could be added to 1.5.4 but the files were changed between 154 and 155 so you'd need to carefully apply the changes by hand.

I've managed to add in a temporary fix till I complete my 1.5.7 upgrade.
