losing session on http 500 status?

i'm using a generic v157 install, and working on a mod on the admin side.

there are times during the development when i submit a form, and i get a 500 error.

i resolve this error, but if i try going back to the page that i was on; ZC is forcing me to login to my admin again.

is this an issue with ZC or my server config? and are there any suggestions with regards to how to address it?

it would be nice to not have to login all the time during development.

I've not run into this situation.
The only time I'm logged out of my admin is if it times out because of inactivity or if I delete the browser cookie.
(or clear the sessions table in the db)

The only other thing I can think of is if you're switching to http instead of https and the cookie is therefore no longer relevant/readable.
