I am been using Zen Cart v. 1.5.1 for several years now with no issues but over the past few months I have 2 large issues, that sometimes occur separately and sometimes together.
This issue arose out of nowhere and no changes were made to the site, GoDaddy is the host.
First issue is we are using Transaction Express (TransFirst) and we keep having issues with customers getting charged 2-3 times for the same order. Odd part is if you go and look in the database, only one transaction ID is being recorded and passed to the Transaction Express but 2-3 show up in their portal and the customer is charged multiple times.
Additionally, I have noticed most of these customers have a large "address book" on their Zen Cart account.
Second issue and sometimes in tandem with the first is that an order will not record in the store and no email is sent as a result but the payment completes and goes to Transaction Express.
This issue seems to happen mostly when someone is using Chrome to place an order.
We are really at a loss on how to fix this other than moving to another platform, any ideas?
