I know it's late ... but better late than never!

Zen Cart continues to get better and better. Here's what we accomplished in 2022:

- The release of 1.5.7d early in the year.

- The release of Zen Cart 1.5.8, giving users the ability to run under PHP 8.1 and even PHP 8.2.

- Strong support for critical plugins such as Square WebPay, the Bootstrap Template, Edit Orders, Sales Report, Authorize CIM, and the population tools (EasyPopulate and DbIo).

- Many refinements made to the admin, in both navigation and customizability.

- Enhancements for accessibility to the responsive classic and bootstrap templates. Accessibility lawsuits are an emerging menace for online sellers, and we're doing our best to provide solutions that meet the relevant standards.

- Continued buildout of our documentation site https://docs.zen-cart.com/

2023 marks the TWENTIETH ANNIVERSARY of the fork of Zen Cart from osCommerce.

What's on the roadmap for 2023?

- A release of 1.5.8a is planned for the first half of the year, targeting critical fixes to 1.5.8 issues, better PHP 8.2 compatibility and other improvements.

- Continued discussions on new features and directions in Github.

- Helping people get to PHP 8 by updating plugins to meet the new stricter requirements.
