v157b removing product images from invoices

With the latest zencart version 1.5.7b invoices generated for the customer contain pictures of the products being sold. This results in the invoices taking several pages to print out instead of the usual one page.

Is there a way to remove product images from the invoice. I've searched but could not find any references to this.

Near the top of admin/invoice.php there is a line

$show_product_images = true;

try setting this to false.

Make a backup of the original file before you change things.

I'm perhaps already tainted. In a way I think that no not needed (perhaps yet) as a database admin switch.. may be better to have more "hints" to get to it, but those will come with time and others pointing it out. There are/remain items throughout that are not database set values. Perhaps could identify why this should be considered for an admin setting?

We're really trying to avoid adding a zillion more configuration switches to the admin since people always complain that there's too many and they can't find anything.
Plus, configuration switches involve adding database entries, which makes PHP coding changes no longer able to be standalone independent of having to run an upgrade.

Older thread, I realise, but this absolutely needs to be an option (couldn't find it in 1.5.8a, if it's there, please post where it's hiding). I print an invoice for each order and the images are making the invoices ugly and almost unworkable, as well as wasting paper...

This was added to 1.5.8a you need to rename admin/includes/extra_datafiles/dist_site_specific_admin_overrides.php to admin/includes/extra_datafiles/site_specific_admin_overrides.php and set the value of $show_product_images and $show_product_images_pack to false if you don't want to display the images on invoices and packing slips.
