Making "All Products" "New Products" "Specials" etc. the same as my custom categories

As the title suggest I am trying to make "All Products" "New Products" "Special Products" "Featured Products"" etc. the same as my custom categories.

This is how "All Products" "New Products", etc looks now.



This is how my custom categories look and how I would like all to look.


I looked at tpl_index_product_list.php but I can't make much sense of it, nor do I even know if that is the right file to edit.

I tried using the Single listing template plugin, but that only changes the layout on the main page (unless I'm missing something)

I am using a responsive template clone

I see a couple of choices:

1. Attempt to integrate the SNAF (https://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.p...1358&styleid=4) plugin that hasn't been updated since zc155.
2. Change to use the ZCA Bootstrap 4 template (https://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=2191), which already uses a common layout for all listing types.
