Need more space between Category name and Number for qty of products

The Category name and the number of products under that category are running together ...

Its looks like this ...
By Publisher1

Instead of this ...
By Publisher 1


That is an example of a main category, so its doing the same in the sub-categories as well.

Would like to have it look like the latter but if not, can I turn off the number all together ?

I ended up turning them off because there isn't a way to move the sub-cat ones only the main ones. Works better without anyway.
