Disable stock quantity and reduction

If you have an item that never goes out of stock, how can we disable the subtracting of stock so it never is an issue? No emailing low on stock, no reducing stock count, or should I just set the stock amount at a very high number?

Is there a SQL to set all products stock amount?
Is there an SQL or option to disable showing of stock amount?

Maybe disable Check stock level and some other things?

Subtract product in stock by product orders

You can make global changes to the way stock is handled for all products in Configuration > Stock

To set stock levels globally, update the products_quantity field in the products table, i.e.

UPDATE products SET products_quantity = 1000;

From Admin > Configuration > Install SQL Patches (after making a backup).

To disable showing quantity, use the Layout Settings editor for your product type (likely product general)
