Does this happen if you access the email on another device - not using the same internet connection.

Because, having a local copy of your website on the PC(?) you access the emails on, running on something like Wampserver/Xampp, with a self-signed SSL cert and the hosts file (windows) edited can cause this.

Sorry, it doesn't need to be on a different internet connection - just another device.

Well...looks like its the email program(s). Grabbed my buddies laptop, cleared out the cache and accessed my email via Chrome and then Safari and both showed the email header logo...super frustrating when ya waste time chasing down a bogus bug sorry to waste your (& everyone else's time), but hopefully this will help someone down the line not do the same thing...again, really really appreciate it Simon!

That's great, glad it's all sorted.
