While you don't indicate what version of Zen Cart is being used, if you have properly installed/upgraded to version 1.5.1 or above, then providing the following should not be an issue.
Please provide the contents of includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php down to where the DB_ type constants are provided that relate to the database. Meaning, do not provide database credentials or if the files to that point do contain something of concern, please obscure the specific info.

Points at information in the Zen - configure.php admin/live site non matching to .htaccess not matching the actual server install location or redirects your hosting server has set in cPanel.

Your site doesn't know or can't find the root directly - in the short link. The long link that does work is pointing at an actual page that it can find directly.
