To update an order, Delete from Taxjar, use Edit Orders, then Add to Taxjar.

Checkout Payments:

So if you have to edit an order after you recorded the order in TJ, you would "Delete from TJ", edit the order and then "Add To TaxJar"?

Oh also, does it account for shipping, like some states do not require sales tax against shipping but states like Kansas does.

Right. Taxable orders are automatically recorded in Taxjar during checkout. If you edit an order and make a change that might impact the sales tax, then you would need to do that. Changes that might impact the sales tax would be anything that effects the total, or the shipping address. It doesn't happen often.

Yes. That is configured in Taxjar for that state.

We have a lot of order changes and order cancellations or adding items to orders because of the specialty items we sell. It's a PITA, it wasn't before the Wayfair judgement since we didn't have to worry about sales tax, now it is.

I would love to but I paid some scam artists to do the plugin and I do not have an idea on how to. They left a huge mess of leftover files on my server, refuse to answer and refuse to delete what is not needed, made many mistakes which I had to catch. I urge anyone doing business with NUMINIX to think twice. I did PM ChuckPhillips about this. You are more than welcome to PM me also if you have any ideas.

thanks for your advice and messages. the issues have been resolved and now works (for those reading, my version, not ChuckPhillips version)
