Missing footer and header classic responsive android

Understanding how Google crawls is important. They don't see the page the way you do, they are looking at the raw HTML, and being that the mobile menu is in the HTML, hidden from view until someone taps the hamburger menu to slide it in, it is indexable. Just because it is hidden from the viewer until clicked doesn't mean it is hidden from the crawler.

You don't suppose spiders read the meta tags from the source too do you? LOL

how about the "customer thinks the guy who designed the website is an idiot" rule when they follow a long-established UX pattern that clicking the logo takes you to the home page and they click the logo and immediately they are kicked to the dialer unexpectantly? Bad user experience can push a customer away

Just because it is hidden from the viewer until clicked doesn't mean it is hidden from the crawler.

FYI: the only urls in the source code that I could find were the urls from header footer and horizontal cat tabs.

Are you missing the redundant HOME icon text at the top left on your websites? It's easy to miss, since its the very first word on the website. I have it on all of mine, like every other standard website.

Which is hidden, by default, from view by

clicking the hamburger menu injects classes that unhide it.

I reduced FF to minimum to get the mobile version then read the source. Couldnt find it there. But now I know. Thanks for the tip.

I tried viewing source on android but apparently not possible.

reducing the window on the desktop when using Responsive Classic won't show you the mobile source because the browser user agent doesn't change and the classes/Mobile_detect.php doesn't see it as mobile so the mobile menu doesn't get sent to the user. When in developer mode you can set it to be a iphone, samsung, etc which will trigger the mobile_detect.php will see it as a mobile device, and then the mobile menu with be shipped to the browser. That's how sites built using the mobile_dectect script handle it, Bootstrap, on the other hand, doesn't do device detection and ships the entirety of the page to the browser which is why you can see the mobile menu in its source when on desktop view.

Im not finding that. At least not in FF. I clicked responsive mode from the FF menu and I get the android version....which doesnt even show the hamburger menu, let alone have it appear in the source code.

see firefox screenshot F12 to get into developer tools and then click on the circle icon in the image to switch to device mode and then pick your device from the top of the screen
