Using Attributes to create custom products???

Hi All,
Been a long time since I posted anything or asked a question, but here goes.

Does anyone know enough about using options and attributes to make a product customizable? For example, you sell t-shirts, and want customers to be able to upload a design they would like to have printed on that t-shirt. I know there is no way to create mockups as that would mean tons of coding.

Also, how can I create a library of graphics that a customer can browse and then choose one for the same thing, to have printed on the t-shirt, or coffee mug, or whatever?

Thanks to anyone that can help, or point me to the best, relevant documentation.

For use of the admin's Attributes Controller (where an image is associated with a product's attribute), see https://docs.zen-cart.com/user/admin...es_controller/

You can also Google zen cart attribute images, which will also bring up free/commercial plugins that will support swapping a product's main image with the attribute image, enhancing the display of those options.

Also, if you set up a test store with the demo data, you can see how this is done by examining product #34.
It has attributes called "Logo Front" and "Logo Back" which are images the customer would upload.

There are also free/commercial modules to support tracking inventory of product that are "different" by attribute or stocked by attribute.
