Looking for add on for a product

One line of items I sale is vinyl decals. This one decal is sold per letter. Each letter is X dollars. What im looking for is something that will allow my customer to be able to go in and say I need decal cut for “NC79218”. When the submit it will show the text on the order and will give them the total for the letters. Any suggestions.

Not entirely sure about "forcing" the formatting of the letters on the "item", but using a text box attribute (option name setting) that has a per letter price (attributes controller setting) allows for at least the pricing consideration described. Again the next thing to do is to force the text to be of the style desired on the object/background desired...

As far as "showing the text", without edit the text entered by the customer will show as part of the product information, but it wouldn't be quite so "customized" as I was thinking the request was asking.

Just set up a test store as a subdomain under your main site. You can delete it once you're done.
