    v1.5.7

    I must have not copied up something properly.
    But not that used to the logs to figure out what.
    No entries appearing in my Admin.

    If you are trying to add new fields to your products table, I have just done some code to do that:

    https://github.com/torvista/Zen_Cart...Product_Fields

    I think Im not sure what Im supposed to be doing with this module, just seem to have lost my way entirely.

    Ive ended up with multiple entries on database tables and no entries in my Admin.

    Dont really understand the instructions for this module.

    Do you think thats what Im missing ... adding these fields to my products table ?

    Trying to upgrade my website to the latest version, but had this module installed before and assumed it was needed for Google Merchant.

    @toyseller
    You're working on a live site as I can see from your logs. Did that also ... 13 years ago. Bad idea. Better test and prepare on localhost (a server created on your computer).

    Did you at least make between every tweaking point a backup?

    Option 1) If you want to continue with the code from torvista, continue on the thread he made. He will be the best person to help you with his own code. Go to https://www.zen-cart.com/showthread....ng-an-observer No need to continue reading here.

    Option 2) You want to continue with the Numinix code. Then I can give you some advice based on my recent experience with it while helping a friend.
    1: stop!

    2: If you're using the plugin here version 2.4.8 then it's outdated. On his own site you'll find 3.1.2 for Zen Cart 1.5.7
    Motivation is most likely to get people to visit their support site. nothing personal just business.

    3: You're UK based so that makes it easier. You'll only need to worry about English languages files which are mostly included.

    4: Field ISBN generates also UPC, ASIN, EAN. Making a custom EAN fields will trigger that ISBN generator and give problems. It's all or nothing because suddenly you get errors about missing files, fields, text values. Need EAN? Generate ISBN-group!

    5: init_numinix_product_fields.php is not on its place. Did you rename "your_admin" or "admin" to "zcadmin"? PS: perhaps a little more inspiration for an unique name should be safer online.

    6:Use of undefined constant DATE_TIME_FORMAT
    Go to /zcadmin/includes/functions/general.php on line 189
    Make sure it states:

    PHP Code:
        return strftime(DATE_TIME_FORMATmktime($hour$minute$second$month$day$year));

    No, Im actually not working on a live site ... but it isnt till recently, after many years, Ive figured out how to do a dump and restore and how to not
    have to work on a live site. I do a backup after every new plugin install.

    I think this is actually the last module I need to install before I can then put the sight live.
    Still not sure if I actually 'need' Image Handler, as everything seems ok without it.
    But I have someone who has come from abroad to stay with me, so its kind of putting me off my stride.
    I had this Product fields module on my old live site. Im not after anything other than the video and Ean bits, anything so i can produce a google merchant load file and show a video on my product page, not really that worried in this case, that I have the latest latest version.
    My product page is producing a 500 error code. Not sure if Im supposed to merge code.

    I picked up the latest version of Google Analytics on the Numinix site ... got it running, then realised there was nowhere to put my 1 line of GA4 Analytics code and had to overwrite their javascript with a basic piece of analytics code. I just dont know what I do incorporate that 1 line. What a waste of all that good coding.

    I move the files across manually and I know I need the database fields, which still havent figured out if I pick and choose what I want or just do everything as a complete set. I did wonder where the EAN was, as I had this before on my old site and couldnt see it.

    I might be happier when my guest isnt here as I can sit quietly.

    Are all these messages Im getting, just based on the fact I havent added the new fields to my product table ?
    Still not sure what sql I need to run. My guest has gone to the pub.

    Line 189 does read ...
    return strftime(DATE_TIME_FORMAT, mktime($hour, $minute, $second, $month, $day, $year));

    I dont understand what you are saying to do ...

    5: init_numinix_product_fields.php is not on its place. Did you rename "your_admin" or "admin" to "zcadmin"? PS: perhaps a little more inspiration for an unique name should be safer online.

    I just manually move all the files in place. Am I supposed to edit something.

    I do have 2 entries on my configuration_group table for Product Fields where configuration_group_id = 40 and 41

    The last entry on this table was configuration_group_id = 34 ... therefore I assume that I ideally should have 1 entry set to configuration_group_id = 35

    I have 1 entry on my configuration_table that goes with configuration_group_id = 41

    The products table has products_ean and products_asin fields both set to Null throughout.

    I never understood what this instruction meant me to do ...
    Upload all files in this package while maintaining the directory structure (rename YOUR_ADMIN to your custom admin folder name except for the ones in catalog/YOUR_ADMIN/includes/npf_includes/prebuilt_fields folder)

    I just put all the files into their directory structure one at a time, in their correct places in the structure. I really dont understand what the bracketed part wants me to do.
