Default Changed Server for website. Mail still on old server.

I moved my shop to another server.
All mails have stayed at the old server.
Sending mails via smtpauth doesn't work anymore though all settings at email-options have remained the same, have always worked, and are still correct.

A and MX record are set correctly. Set the FQDN correctly.

The shop works without problems. Mail itself works too via webmail or mail client.
But what doesn't work is to use the mailserver via the shop.

    Is it a bug?

There is still some setting that is not correct. I know, understatement but, we need a lot more info.

Whether or not the old site's IP is dedicated or shared could affect things.

Many other settings can get involved.

What help are you getting from either host?

Are you sure the MX is correct?

Are you using an IP or URL in Zen Cart for the e-mail host?

You can check the DNS at whatsmydns.net by entering mail.yoursite.com, selecting A (to get the IP) or MX (to get the name) from the dropdown and clicking on search.

Just to be clear, these are two separate problems. You should be able to fix #2. #1 you're out of luck.

To move forward on #2, review your new hoster's help files on configuring SMTPAuth. For example, they might use a different port than your old hoster.
