    Default New install issues

    Hi

    Due to system crashes I have reinstalled Zen-cart numerous times.

    In admin when I try to add an attribute for a product I get the attached screen. Never seen this before.

    Please can anyone advise what the problem maybe?

    Not sure what the problem is considered to be. What I see is that there are no option names yet defined. The information provided below the red text support managing option names for those that exist. Further it is not described from what version an upgrade was performed along with many of the other aspects of the posting tips. Providing that information helps those here to help you. One concept that was made for all in this latest version was to display that lower section to all whether they previously knew it existed or not. Some developers in the past normally disable or remove that section, so perhaps the lower screen is new to you, maybe not. That's why it helps those here for a much as possible to be described. Look forwards to knowing more to be able to help.

    This not an upgrade. It is a brand new install of v1.57. All previous reinstalls allow me to add attributes - now it doesn't which leads me to believe that the zip download has been messed with in some way? I don't understand why a new install gives this issue.

    What happens when you click the button on the left that says "Add a new Option Name"?

    Ok I have installed yet another v1.57 system and it worked this time!

    Imported all the relevant database tables and folders and all is good.

    Spent a week trying to resolve this issue so really do not know what the problem was.
