Categories sidebox

In the configuration settings it is possible to set the scroll size for manufacturers to 0 thus: Manufacturers List - Scroll Box Size/Style

Is there a way to replicate this for the categories sidebox please?

The categories sidebox isn't built as a dropdown the way the manufacturer's sidebox is.
Part of the reason is that categories can have multiple levels whereas manufacturers can't.

You could build something that would do this for top level categories only but it would only be a good fit for stores with just 1 level of depth in their category hierarchy.
