Where in the catalog is the database name?

I am installing another catalog and the installation asks for the database name.

I always have difficulty with this as my provider has an unusual name hidden in public.html and always have to ask them for it.

If it is listed in a folder of my present catalog that would be a great help.

Anyone, know where it is?

I'm not exactly sure what you're doing but:

- If you have an existing working Zen Cart installation, the database name is shown in the Admin panel on the Version screen.
- If you are just setting up a new Zen Cart installation, your databases can be seen in cPanel by going to PHPMyAdmin or to MySQL Databases.

Also for an existing database, the credentials associated with that store are within the applicable includes/configure.php file where one is in the catalog side and another is in the admin folder.

Note that if all of the same credentials are (re)used, that care should be taken when moving forwards with the installation of the second cart. If performed incorrectly there may be a risk of affecting the live site. Backup, backup, backup...
