New Shipping Module - ICONSIGNIT Help.

Hi,

I have paid a developer to create a new shipping module for an Australian based freight company. The company is called KIS Corporate Logistic Services. It provides shipping quotes for several freight carriers via one account. It also handles dangerous goods and palletized products.

This is a module I want to share with the community, but I don't believe it is ready. I need help to get it finished.
In its basic form it works and gives quotes correctly, but there are improvements needed and I don't want to engage the original developer. (too frustrating)

In my view it needs the following improvements:

At the customer level:

• Quotes at the shopping cart without the need to be logged in.
• Require the customer to declare the delivery address as residential or commercial. If residential, add the residential delivery fee configured in the module.

• Admin Level:
• The ability to add a handling fee in the module config
• The ability to add a residential delivery fee in the module config
• Link the % add from the shipping config section to the module

Any thoughts or ideas on how to move forward with this will be appreciated.

You can submit it as a plugin with notes on what needs to be done. Just add a GPL license to your submission file.

Secondly you should create an account and repository for this on Github to allow people to contribute to it easily.
Thirdly, when you upload it to plugins you can add the link to Github and this support thread.
