157d works very well on php 8.1, except shipping/paymnt modules

I am testing 157d on php 8.1. It works very well, except that I cannot make any changes to shipping rate. I have to roll back to php 7.4 to change shipping rate.

Payment module also rejects any changes under php 8.1

Just wonder if it is possible to change shipping rate by running some sql code? or any other method outside admin panel? If yes, then I can run 157d on php 8.1

Would help to identify more detail, what shipping module? What payment module?

For these things, where are these changes being made? How would the issue be reproduced?

Was this an upgrade? How was the uplifted performed?

Likely have more questions after some answers.

Don't know until a healthy discussion and additional review. If you figure out what caused the reported issues, please post here how it was caused and what was done to fix it. You can't be the only one that has our all experience it.

I have not figured out yet, still working on it. I said it is my fault because when I installed a new copy of 157d without doing anything on it, it works well. So the problem must be on my side.

You should be able to run under PHP 8.0 - have you tried that?

Thanks swguy, I will reinstall a new copy of 157d, much easier than investigating problems of the old one. I found 157d working very well on php 8.1 but have to be careful when installing old plugins which could cause problem

If you are installing a lot of plugins, a good practice is to have a test store where you can install, verify, debug and harden PRIOR to updating your live site.
