no way you are going to get a rate better than what it costs to clear the transaction, ie the interchange rate.

Check the Open Cart link from my post above - it has the fees for Paypal Commerce listed.

anything that sounds to good to be true generally is.

i really hate paypal. i think they are a bad company.

did u read the comments on the open cart link?

i have coded more payment modules than i ever would care to admit.

i’m in the us and so i have 0 experience negotiating rates for european entities. here in the us, interchange plus pricing is always the best deal. no matter who is processing your credit card.

In the EU and (for now) UK the interchange rate is capped at 0.3% cc and 0.2% dc for domestic transactions (there are different rates for cross border depending on which countries are involved)

Hence Paypal can still make a profit charging such a low fee.

Is there any chance this could be worked on by the core team? I can donate towards the time/costs also PayPal have offered money to complete the integration, but with a completion date of before end of May 2022.

Would it be possible to have some feedback from the core team, please.

I was told by the PayPal rep that Apple Pay and Google Pay will be offered through the Paypal Commerce platform, this is such a great addition to the payment option, surely Zen-Cart would be a better store with this payment platform integrated.

Here's the feedback - your concern has been noted; please stop asking. Repeatedly nagging actually doesn't help the process along.

As soon as there's an update I will let you know.
