Products wont show on main page

I am using the flourspar template
I cant get new (Or old or anything) products to show on the main page when somebody logs on to my website.
How do I get some products to automatically show on the front page?

I take it you have already looked at your Admin >> Configuration >> Index Listing options and made sure those are set correctly?

You can choose a specific category to display on the main page here...

Configuration -> Layout Settings -> Main Page Opens With Category

Put a 0 in that setting will show the main (highest level) category or you can put a specific category ID in there.
For example, on my website, I am displaying category 6 on the main store page.
