Email Notification

Hi All,

PHP version at present is 5.6.40

I have just over the last couple of days had issues with email notifications when an order has been placed on the site. The customer is getting notified by PayPal of the purchase and that is all.

It should be sending out emails from the store and I usually get a copy sent to myself but that is not happening. The only information that I am receiving is payment notification.

I am on a linux server and all has been working ok until a couple of days ago and the the notifications stopped for no reason. I am wondering if I have been hacked.

Hi Swguy,

What settings are you suggesting to change.

I also have a file on the server in the main public_html directory called zi4dmoLe and that is why I am thinking that I have been hacked.

Any thoughts about the file as well because it appears to be growing since Late April

I'm suggesting reading that document which has a bunch of ideas.
That file might be a failed ftp attempt. You can just delete it.

Have you tried using E-mail Transport Method set to sendmail
leave the SMTP to default
