Upgrading From 1.5.7c to 1.5.7d - Do I need to do database upgrade?

I'm currently using Zen Cart 1.5.7c, with PHP 8.

I'm upgrading to 1.5.7d by using the list of changed files since 1.5.7c. It was nice and simple as there was only 3 files I needed to make any edits to.

However, when I log into admin after uploading the new files, I still see the notice telling me I'm using 1.5.7c and can download 1.5.7d. I'm assuming this is because I haven't done the database upgrade side of things.

Do I really need to upgrade the database, or is there something I can just change in the database itself (with phpmyadmin) so it shows the correct version?

No db update is required, just update the file
zencart-1.5.7d/includes/version.php

Make sure the copy you have includes the line

define('PROJECT_VERSION_MINOR', '5.7d');

The initial release missed this change in the zip file.
