    Default No database upgrade option

    Hello,

I'm in the midst of upgrading a client's store from 1.5.6 to 1.5.7c (yes, I know there is 1.5.7d, but I was already done with replicating all customizations in v. 1.5.7c when it was released).

I'm stuck at trying to test the new 1.5.7c shop with a copy of data from the live (1.5.6) shop. Here's the steps I took:

    1. install clean 1.5.7c & test with test data
    2. re-do all customizations
    3. test shop (still using test data from clean install)
    4. make a copy of live shop data (1.5.6)
    5. change config files to use new copy of live data
    6. re-upload zc_install folder
    7. browse to MY_SHOPS_URL/zc_install

I expected to have the option of doing a database upgrade only. There is a message saying "An existing configure.php file was found, indicating a pre-existing installation. " but only buttons for "Clean Install" and "Refresh"

I vaguely remember running into something like this with another client's shop but I can't find anything in the forum that I might have used to resolve it and move forward.

    Any ideas/advice?

    Thanks!

Geez! I'm an idiot. It was the DB_PREFIX. I thought I used a prefix in both the live data and the test data from the clean install, but nope! Thanks for your quick reply pointing me to the docs.
