Home page redirecting to non-existent product page

After some time of my client going back and forth with the hosting company and getting nowhere, I did more experimenting and digging. Here's what I uncovered:

1) adding an htaccess redirect had no effect
2) completely changing the store URL (i.e. "https://billholabmusic.com/store" to "https://billholabmusic.com/estore") also had no effect

In both cases above, page loads of "https://billholabmusic.com/store/index.php" still are redirected to "https://billholabmusic.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=4189"

Since this still occurred even when I changed the store's URL, this makes me suspicious it's happening from within ZenCart somewhere, but I have no idea where to look. This is really driving me nuts!

My money's on GoneDaddy.

If you have a host that does not understand or follow a redirect, you need to do the Forest thing.

Does this host even provide cPanel or some equivalent?

I don't think the client has any relationship with GoDaddy at all (but I could be wrong). His host is IONOS and no they don't use cPanel. They seem to have their own "control panel" but it doesn't open very much and their support is super unhelpful.

Can you explain what you mean by "you need to do the Forest thing"?
