DB Cant connect

Out of the blue today I started gettng this error when accessing my site:

"Sorry!
There seems to be a problem connecting to our database. Please give us a few minutes to remedy the problem. Thank you."

NO changes have been made to site in several months.

Particularly when on this page and user SORTS product listings from HIGH to Low Price on SORT drop down filter

Possible causes include but are not limited to: shared hosting where another's code is preventing access to your database, the database server is having difficulties processing the site's traffic, a change to server configuration has had an impact on operation. If it was all of the time, there might be a change of the server credentials that might be a cause.

I'm thinking that perhaps there is relevant information in the docs. Please search docs.zen-cart.com for the associated documentation.
