The reason I asked is that transferring that many files can cause one or two to be lost.

A Zip is provided for each version and, generally, that file is unzipped on the server to avoid any file loss problems. https://docs.zen-cart.com//user/firs...t-using-cpanel.

If you are actually bringing in files from a previous version into a new install of ZC, there might be a reason for not using zip but, you can still zip those files first to avoid any loss or corruption.

Lots of missing files. Had to upload admin twice and the laravel folder for v158 was huge.

Got both the admin and catalog working.
