Index Page Show All Products in Category Instead of Subcategories

Hi,

I am wondering if there is a setting in the Admin panel that allows you change to display all products in a category, instead of displaying the subcategories which a user would then choose from.

I would still want to have the subcategories displaying in the left sidebox so that the user could then use these as filters, but I would like when I click on a category for it to automatically display all products in this category including sub category products.

There is no such switch. You'd have to write some code to do it.

Uhm... There is a plugin, but I've built it a long time ago so it would need updating for 1.5.8. If anyone wants to do it, please do. I thought I had submitted it to the Plugins section, but guess I forgot...
