Database upgrade error, says 1.5.8-dev

I downloaded the newest 1.5.8 install files and went to go through all the steps and database upgrade is holding me up. I checked in the mysql database and can't find a reference to delete that 1.5.8-dev from the system like swguy mentioned as a bug in early 1.5.8 download files....


Could not update to version 1.3.0. We detect that you currently have v1.5.8-dev, and must perform the updates to get to version 1.2.7 first.

This is what it says when unchecking all other upgrade options and just trying 1.5.7 to 1.5.8:
