Alt image editing ?

Has Zen Cart figured out a way to add basic Alt image text, instead of having to edit code ? Like a simple ALt Text option as most every eommerce platform has?

I know in the past the answer is, "its auto created from the product title ". BUt, what if we want to edit it?

Well, starting with Zen Cart v1.5.7, there's now a notification just before each <img> tag's rendering begins

    $zco_notifier->notify('NOTIFY_OPTIMIZE_IMAGE', $template_dir, $src, $alt, $width, $height, $parameters);

Hooking in to observe that notification enables the functionality you requested (regardless the name of the notifier itself).
