zc_install not showing upgrade database option after importing

I exported from my 1.5.4 database.

Then I imported that sql file into my new 1.5.8a zen cart store on php 8.2.4.

I visited /zc_install and was not shown the usual upgrade database button as I've seen in past upgrades. As seen in pic.



I followed all my steps exporting my old sql file and imported ok.

Why is the upgrade database option not shown.
Can it be that I'm on the wrong php version?
Any help will be much appreciated.

Likely issue is that the configure files in their entirety are not pointing to wherever the old database was uploaded. There are several ways that could be true even if it seems like it couldn't be wrong.

I believe you may be right but not too sure what to do.
Should I do clean install and import my old dbase zip file? What do you suggest to have my "update database button" to show up?

In fact after importing I get this message in my pic.

I reread everything and will check both config files.
I think the issue is there. Will report later.

Just an update I got it going and mc12345678 was right my config files were insane!

I remedied this by changing the config files to point to the old database and ran /zc_install and what magically appeared was the update database button! Wooo Hooo!
