Square error during checkout

Square Web Payments version 1.0.4
ZenCart v1.5.7c
PHP 7.2.34

I was having issues with Square Web Payments version 1.0.2 (missing token error) so I upgraded to version 1.0.4 and am now receiving the following error message during checkout:

Hmmm... seems like a problem... did you enter a credit card number?

Message is received when using a test cc number and also an actual cc number.

I am using the exact same app on another zencart site (on same server, using same exact temple) with no issue, so I have no clue why it's happening on this site.

Any ideas?

i would review some of the valuable information provided there.

this is the same error as the missing token result. due to popular demand, i changed the error to something... well more popular...

in addition, you should have a debug log for this error. that debug log says:

"should not get here. check that you have the latest jscript_square_webpay file and that you are not having javascript errors in the console."

i would guess you are having javascript errors reported in your console.
