The category description is a summary, that information should reside on the product's page so that when purchasing it is there... People will not read it on the category index page.

You are right and an SEO specialist, but that is only putting a link in product page, since I am planning on entering many products there would be many links, the more the merrier.

You need to protect that directory at least with an index so it cannot be browsed =)
