searching threads via site:https://www.zen-cart.com/forum/

Until relatively recently I would conduct searches of the zen cart forum using google search engine with great success by prefixing the desired search term with

site:https://www.zen-cart.com/forum/ whatever

where whatever is the particular term being searched.

However recently search engine attempts are largely resulting in

Your search - site:https://www.zen-cart.com/forum/ whatever - did not match any documents.

Am I missing something here?

yes, you are.

remove the forum part of the search. there is no forum sub-directory.

this thread does not have forum in the url. it is:

https://www.zen-cart.com/showthread....cart-com-forum

My bad, I should have paid closer attention.

However removing /forum/ does not fetch results from forum.

To do this one must use

site:https://www.zen-cart.com/showthread/ whatever

Mind sharing one of these "whatever" topics? While I rarely specifically search for a given thread, when I have added zen cart to the end of my search query, at least some of the results are specifically from a thread. Others are from the docs or other specifically zen cart related pages. Problem I have is that I'm not sure what one might be searching to suggest anything significantly different than what is posted here. I find the "required" search term a little much, but whatever.

When I run this from a Chrome Incognito browser window, I get > 300 results. Perhaps that's what you need to do?
