Override Logic - ZC Template System

Somewhere in the code there is some logic that looks for whichever page is called in:

1. The Custom Template.

then

2. The Default Template.

Is there a way to modify the logic that it would look three times? for example:


1. The Custom Template.

then

2. Responsive Classic.

then

3. The Default Template.

This exact thing is on the drawing board for 2.0.0. For now, there's a plugin called Clone a Template - not exactly what you're asking for but gets you part of the way there.
