    Default Database Connectiobn issue

    Hi all,

Just uploaded my old site information up to a cloud server which still has the old database there and I am getting this message:

    Sorry!
There seems to be a problem connecting to our database. Please give us a few minutes to remedy the problem. Thank you.

This is also coming up when I try to open the server:

    Not Found
The requested URL was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Anny assistance would be great.

If this database is at a different location than originally identified in the includes/configure.php file, then be sure that prior to updating the file contents that the file is changed to allow writing: 644 permissions.

Another possibility is that the DB_PREFIX in the file doesn't match the prefix used in the database.

I'm not sure by the above problem description that all things would then be corrected. Part of the message indicates that not able to access the database through what seems like "normal" database tools...

This means what it means... You need to check your credentials for connecting to the new database. Have you set this user in MySQL with necesary rights to access your Zen Cart database?

Database name, user, and password are in includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php
You will have to fix them, probably after reseting the database user password.
