I don't know if this is the right place but I'm getting a bit desperate
I use zen cart 1.5.8A hosted on a NAS 211 with PHP 8.0 and Mariadatabase 10
If I call up the shop in the morning, it takes 1m40 seconds before it is visible. If I do this in the evening, it will be there in 4 seconds.

I'm running into walls, according to Synology there is nothing wrong with the NAS and after a long search my internet provider has also indicated that there is nothing wrong with my internet connection either.

does anyone have the same experience?
better yet does anyone know the solution?

You could host your site at a webhoster.
Then you 'd have evidence whether it is your zen-cart installation or anything else.

FWIW, we were having issues with the version-server earlier this week; there are a ton of other threads reporting and the issue has now been corrected.
