Sitemap Error

Hi All,

Running version 1.5.8a version 8.1php

I am getting this message when I do a sitemap ping.

cURL Error: Error http_code "404" reading "https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/ping?sitemap=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.outdoorking.com.au%2Fsitemap.xml"
Sitemaps ping is deprecated. See https://developers.google.com/search...s-lastmod-ping.
Error 404

Any help would be appreciated because work out the google link.

Search engines no longer respond to a programmatic 'ping'; this has been corrected in a recent update to Sitemap XML: https://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=367

Noting that the issue is not corrected, per se, since that's functionality that was removed by the search-engines themselves! That update to the Sitemap XML processing simply removes the use of that no-longer-supported feature.
