how can I remove the 'more info' line in product listing?

I'd like to remove the '.... more info' line under the product listings on category pages, featured products etc, and not sure how to go about it so would appreciate some help please. The product image and the description text under the image both link to the product page so personally I cannot see a need for the more info link - and removing it will reduce the gap between products on a page.

The easiest way would be to simply not display the description.

Set Display Product Description to 0 on the New/Featured/All Listing pages

If you want to compress the rows more so they're skinnier, I would try this:

- show Weight and Stock on the same line
- reduce spacing under Price
- remove Date Added.

When adjusting spaces or heights, especially h and p tags, be sure to keep accessibility in mind and test your page. Line-height is also one of the things all accessibility checkers look at.

Here are some other WCAG text spacing metrics:


* Spacing following paragraphs: At least 2 times the font size

* Letter spacing: At least 0.12 times the font size

* Word spacing: At least 0.16 times the font size



The default line height in browsers is roughly 1.2. For good readability, values between 1.3 and 1.5 are typically recommended, although this varies with font face and line length.


Many people with cognitive disabilities have trouble reading text that is single spaced. A button that increases the line height will help them read the content.

Many thanks to everyone for your responses - as I needed to keep the description and price I elected to use the stylesheet code suggested by lat9 and that did the trick.

In respect to changing the listing configurations it did not make any changes, maybe I did it incorrectly - changed the 4th digit from 2 to 1 here applicable and for all the lines I did not want (weren't showing anyway) I change to first digit to 0 (off) but didn't change the other 3 digits. The resultant spacing was exactly the same as it previously was (and yes I cleared cache) and the same as on another 157 site with unaltered configuration.

With the line spacing aspect which I haven't done before I would have to do a bit of a) reading up on the process and b) do some experimenting.
