Customizations Questions during upgrade

I am testing a 1.5.7d upgrade to 2.0.0

I am NOT trying to preserve any prior configurations. I would rather have a new clean install with all the plugins installed after upgrading the database. After reviewing https://docs.zen-cart.com/release/2....how_to_upgrade, I am curious to know what happens to old plugin customization configuration values? Will they cause issues if those plugins are not installed?

For instance, my current site has one of the older IH versions installed. So do I need to remove all these old configuration values before attempting to test this upgrade? Quite frankly, I am not even sure I know what all plugins are installed on the current site.

For IH, it depends on the current version; let me know what it is and I'll tell you whether the configuration should be removed prior to upgrade.

Perfect! I actually just ran through all the configurations settings for that install and nothing appears to be plugin related which really surprised me. I will install that add on so I can get good info.

You should be OK on Image Handler (upgrading from one ⁵ version to another).

Ditto with One-Page Checkout, although it would help to know what the current version is. You can use the admin's Tools :: Developers' Tool Kit to search for the configuration key CHECKOUT_ONE_MODULE_VERSION.

Not sure about the MySQL Database Backup; perhaps someone that uses that can chime in, same with Easy Populate 4. You might want to check the EP-4 support thread for guidance.

Display Log Files is built into Zen Cart versions 1.5.7 and later; I'm not sure why Mod List is showing that one.

Note that the square payment module was removed from Zen Cart 2.0.0 ... since it hadn't been operable for a while!

No. You may want to delete them just to clean things up, but there's no real harm in leaving them there.

Yes, I definitely want this cleaned up. I have walked a clean install with 2.0.0 all the way to testing payment modules. I want this to be a 2.0.0 pure install with mods that I can document cleanly and logically.

This might be more trouble than it's worth. You can check each mod for uninstall instructions. You may have to install a mod to run the uninstaller if it's a PHP file, and then remove the PHP files.

You should be just fine installing the current version of OPC; it'll take care of adding any configuration keys created after that release.
