error 500 when trying to enable payment modules in admin

hi guys
just done a fresh install of zen on a a new host
everything seemed fine
front end is behaving well and admin seemed ok until i tried to enable some of the built in payment options ( all modules give the same error)

when i click the +install button all i get is a blank page telling:

This page isn’t working
www.cjscreativecrafts.com is currently unable to handle this request.

im running latest version of zen with PHP Version: 8.3.14

What's the site's setting for Configuration // Email // E-Mail Transport Method?

From the log, it looks like it's sendmail. The log is indicating that the base PHP function mail (for whatever reason) isn't installed as part of your webhost's PHP load.

You'll have to ask your hoster to enable PHP mail, and if they won't, you'll have to use an external SMTP server.

You may be required to pinky-swear that you're not a spammer. :)

i contacted my host and they turns out they dont allow php email so ivae used smtpauth method which solved the issue
