2.1.0 manufacturer's side box--get rid of drop menu

I was just wondering, in the previous versions we were able to use the "blank side box" module but it is not for this version so How can I turn off the dop menu in the manufacturers side box.

I have them listed in admin area as I should in the Manufacturers area, then when adding products I have created a Vendor Category (red dot) and listed each merchant in that area [green dot]. My issue is that when viewing the sidebox the listing showing the ones that I have entered their products into but the sidebox is a wee bit too narrow. It is set for the 150px left column minimum because if I set it any larger then all gets pushed over to a balnk area with info shown at the bottom of the page.

I have the right side turned off.

So please tell me how to turn off the drop menu and let the names appear in a column OR how to fix the blank box mod to behave for this version.

I love the way it looks and behaves but it has gotten so much more complicated to edit when you are not a programmer, making it necessary to come in here and bug you.

You can still use blank sidebox.

Admin > Configuration > Maximum Values > Manufacturers List - Scroll Box Size/Style

set this to the number of manufacturers and you'll get a list.

Thanks , so since there are about 80 vendors I can set the amount to 80 and it will list them...I hope so...Thanks
