not sure if I may have messed the install up or not... pretty sure everything went alright..

I have added the sitemap generator to my site http://wepaythetaxes.com

and I ran the sitmap generator (which once I click HERE to produce the sitemap it just took me back to the admin control panel (no errors or anything just the admin page)

but when I try to view the sitemap in Ie just to see if it was produced properly I get this error

The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

I submitted it to google to see if it was just an IE problem....

I have a hidden category on my site at www.silkblooms.co.uk and I want Google to stop crawling that category as it contains customers names.

When I've been using this mod (Google XML Sitemap) to generate sitemaps, it's adding the products within the hidden category to the .xml sitemap file.

I've gone through and removed all relevant products form the .xml sitemap file, so they're no longer in there. but is there's a way to tell this mod NOT to generate the products contained within hidden categories?

When I say hidden, I mean it's hidden in the sense that it has a red square in admin under the status column. The products within the category are active though.

simple questions, but the answers have eluded me.

1. Is the file supposed to be named googlesitemap.php.txt, or is it supposed to be named googlesitemap.php ?

2. At Google Webmaster Tools >> Site Configuration >> Sitemaps, do I want to enter the URL as /googlesitemap.php... or do I want to enter the URL as /sitemapindex.xml ?

3. Does the file /googlesitemap.php create a brand new fresh /sitemapindex.xml file "on the fly" when google crawls it? Is that why we are supposed to use /googlesitemap.php at Google Webmaster Tools?

4. I installed the mod correctly, but at Google Webmaster Tools >> Site Configuration >> Sitemaps, when I enter the URL as /sitemapindex.xml, the Sitemap area of Webmaster Tools says that the URL /sitemapindex.xml has an "error" (red X), but when I click on it to see more information about the error, it says "no errors found." What the heck is that about?

When I go to

it does generate the site map the only problem im having is the shortcut link from my admin tools

can anyone tell me how I can place that? I don't think install sql file has that line written to be created

i forgot to upload some files in the admin folder
