Multiple Digital Downloads

Hey all,

I hope this is the correct place to post this question!

I am about to set up a zen cart installation, which seems outstanding for my purpose, although I have one question first; Is it possible to have multipe digital downloads added to a cart, to then be downloaded as a single zip file instead of multiple files?

For example, a user will add 10 stock images to the cart, and then pay through paypal, finding one zip file to download with all the images in there instead of finding 10 single jpgs.

If you had all those great big images added to your order ...

then you went to download them and they were all combined to make an even bigger file ...

Do you really think that 80meg download was such a good idea?

Fair call, however they wont be so large. For a more streamlined experience for the user, it would make the procedure worthwhile.

Perhaps instead, is it possible with zencart to have a user register and pay a set amount through paypal, giving them access to permanent downloads of a particular category.

For example; the customer registers, selects the images they are after, or alternatively a 'category' they would like to purchase (over 500 images inside), adds to cart and pays via paypal, and is then given access to full res downloads at their convenience.

If you want downloads available to everyone for an unlimited period of time, you can set the maximum days for downloads to a very large number.
